Boublil & Schönberg’s musical crusade returns to the Sondheim Theatre with a principal cast including Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden as Javert, Lucie Jones as Fantine, Shan Ako as Éponine, Harry Apps as Marius, Gerard Carey as Thénardier and Josefina Gabrielle as Madame Thénardier.
This spectacular production has a Company of over 50 actors and musicians drawn from the acclaimed West End and National Tour Companies of Les Misérables and will initially play to a 50% seating capacity with strict Covid safety measures in place. Social distancing will be followed front of house, on stage, backstage and throughout the building. The Theatre will move to full capacity as soon as the Government allows for it.
This spectacular staging of the legendary Les Misérables concert was previously seen in London at the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena.
Set during the revolution, this international award-winning musical has passion, fear, hope, love and some absolute tunes. The show features iconic music, including, I Dreamed A Dream, On My Own, Do You Hear The People Sing?, One Day More, At The End Of The Day, and the ultimate tear-jerker, Bring Him Home.
Based on Victor Hugo’s immortal novel, Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Les Misérables is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg. It has music by Schönberg, with lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
