David Morrissey and Johnny Flynn reprise their roles in the West End transfer of Martin McDonagh’s critically acclaimed play Hangmen.

Set in a local Oldham pub on the day hanging is abolished, it tells the story of Harry, England’s second best Hangman, as cub reporters and sycophantic regulars gather, desperate to hear his reaction to the news. But elsewhere in the pub a peculiar stranger lurks with a different motive altogether.

Hangmen premiered at the Royal Court in October, when it became the first play by McDonagh to be staged in London for more than a decade. McDonagh’s other plays include The Pillowman, The Lieutenant Of Inishmore and The Cripple Of Inishmaan, the latter of which was revived in the West End in 2013 starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Please note, this show is recommended for individuals aged 14 and older. There will be strobe lighting, smoking and haze effect used during this performance.
