Rosalie Craig leads the cast of As You Like It, Shakespeare’s tale of a banished Duke and the daughter in search of him, at the National Theatre.

When her father is banished from his court to the Forest Of Arden, his daughter Rosalind leaves in search of him accompanied by her cousin Celia. Disguised as a boy, she is free from the restraints of convention and finds a new way of living. She also finds herself tutoring a would-be suitor, who has no idea about her real identity, in the ways of love.

Craig, who plays Rosalind, previously led the cast of National Theatre musical The Light Princess and appeared in the ground-breaking London Road.

Craig is joined in the cast by performers including Critics’ Circle Award winner Patsy Ferran (Treasure Island, National Theatre), Olivier Award nominee Paul Chahidi (Nation, National Theatre) and Mark Benton (The Railway Children).

Director Polly Findlay directed Derren Brown’s award-winning show Svengali and has previously directed Treasure Island, Protest Song and Antigone for the National.
