Actress, comedian and presenter Ruby Wax is to return to the London stage from 15 February 2011, when she brings Ruby Wax – Losing It to the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Envy, fame, television, the insatiable drive to win, getting rich, getting the perfect body, marriage, kids and career all serve as topics for conversation in Wax’s new show, which also tackles the stigma of mental illness from the point of view of someone who has it.

Ruby Wax – Losing It, which features music and lyrics by Judith Owen, is directed by Thea Sharrock, whose previous London productions include Equus, A Voyage Round My Father, After The Dance and Heroes.

The Menier Chocolate Factory is currently staging Ken Hill’s The Invisible Man, a musical hall romp of a musical starring John Gordon Sinclair, Maria Friedman, Gary Wilmot and Natalie Casey.
