Video: Limbo’s Jonathan Nosan

First Published 4 July 2014, Last Updated 4 July 2014

On London’s South Bank, next to the up-turned purple cow, sits a Spiegeltent with a dark secret.

Okay, it may not be much of a secret anymore, not after the huge success that circus show Limbo enjoyed last year, but dark, it most certainly is. Mixing acrobatics, contortion, sword-swallowing and feats that defy description, Limbo returned to the London Wonderground this year to bring its distinctly dangerous brand of circus back to the capital.

To celebrate, we met macabre contortionist Jonathan Nosan – who, in person, is far more genial than his bleached face and wide clown-like grin might suggest – to learn more about the show, which colleagues he most admired and who the cute dog sitting next to him was.

See the video at the top of the page.
