There’s a storm coming to the Noël Coward Theatre next month. And it’s coming in the form of Clive Owen – his first West End appearance in 18 years – alongside Anna Gunn and a star-studded cast in The Night Of The Iguana.

The show surrounds a band of troubled tourists, thrown together in a rundown Mexican hotel by torrential downpour. And with a cast which includes Golden Globe winner Clive (Children Of Men), Anna (Breaking Bad), Lia Williams (The Crown) and Julian Glover (Game Of Thrones), this Tennessee Williams’ classic will certainly provide a platform for them to showcase their on-stage prowess.

Who’ll emerge from the one fateful night a changed person? We’re not sure yet – but maybe there are some clues in this rehearsal photography by Brinkhoff/Moegenburg. Take a look below, then book your tickets to see The Night Of The Iguana.

The Night Of The Iguana is also participating in Kids Week; throughout August, a child aged 16 or under can go free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Adults can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price, and there are no booking fees to pay.

The last major West End revival of The Night Of The Iguana took place in 2005 at the Lyric Theatre, and starred Woody Harrelson as Reverend Shannon, opposite Clare Higgins as Maxine and Jenny Seagrove as Hannah. London has also recently seen the likes of Alfred Molina and Eileen Atkins in these starring roles.

The show will be directed by James Macdonald, whose recent West End credits include Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? with Imelda Staunton.
