The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe at the Rose Theatre Kingston

Narnia comes to Kingston this Christmas

Families are invited to enter the magical world of Narnia at the Rose Theatre Kingston this Christmas as the venue has announced it will stage a new adaptation of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe over the festive period.

Adapted for the stage by Theresa Heskins and directed by Ciaran McConville, the production will play from 28 November to 4 January at the venue.

Based on C S Lewis’ classic novel, The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe follows the Pevensie children as they’re evacuated from London to the home of an old professor. There they find a wintry world inside an old dusty wardrobe and embark on a thrilling adventure that will change their lives – and those of Narnia’s residents – forever.

A professional cast will be joined by a host of budding young actors in the production, which will give local children the opportunity to appear on stage as part of the festive family show.

This year’s festive offering follows in the footsteps of The Snow Gorilla, which entertained family audiences at the Rose Theatre Kingston in 2013.
