In rehearsal: Neville’s Island

First Published 1 October 2014, Last Updated 1 October 2014

Four of Britain’s best-known comedians starring in an Olivier Award nominated comedy is bound to make for colourful watching on the West End stage, but as Adrian Edmondson, Miles Jupp, Neil Morrissey and Robert Webb enter the Neville’s Island rehearsal room it’s a much more monochrome affair.

That’s thanks to Darren Bell’s stylish and intriguing black and white photographs, which show the comedic quartet preparing for the forthcoming run of Tim Firth’s classic comedy about a group of businessmen on an out-of-control team-building exercise.

For all their monotony, the images still give us an insight into the hilarity that ensues on their trip to the Lake District. We predict dinner-time dilemmas, map-reading malfunctions and campfire-creating catastrophes!

Neville’s Island begins previews at the Duke of York’s Theatre on 10 October, which means you have just over a week until you’re able to see the show’s stars in all their multicolour glory. Be one of the first by booking tickets through us now.
