In pictures: TKTS carol singing

Published 15 December 2014

The voice of Aled Jones has long been synonymous with Christmas so who better to get us in the Christmas spirit than the Walking In The Air singer, who’s currently starring in seasonal hit White Christmas.

Bringing plenty of festive cheer to passers-by in Leicester Square on Friday, Jones was joined by fellow cast member Tom Chambers, Starling Arts and a host of children from local London schools for the carol singing event outside our TKTS ticket booth.

Fuelled by mince pies and hot chocolate, the singers belted out tunes from the snow-steeped musical – and other seasonal favourites – while raising money for the Sir Simon Milton Foundation, a charity that works to improve the lives of young people and the elderly living in Westminster.

Feeling sad that you missed it? Don’t worry, you can see all of the event’s highlights in our gallery above.
