Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe celebrates the 400th anniversary of the deaths of Shakespeare and iconic Chinese playwright Tang Xianzu, with an all-female production of Coriolanus And Du Liniang – a new piece based on Shakespeare’s destructive tragedy and Xianzu’s love story, The Peony Pavilion. The opera’s world premiere takes place at the Peacock Theatre on 23 and 24 July. Read more on the official website.

Miriam Margolyes takes to the stage in Seven, a play about the lives of a courageous group of female leaders, as part of the Women And War festival.
